Health Care Service Corporation is an insurance company based in Chicago, Illinois. Established in 1975, from the merger of Blue Cross Plan for Hospital Services and Blue Shield Plan for Physician Services, it provides health, accident, and life insurance products and related services, through the various operating divisions and subsidiaries. The assets of the company are managed by the executive management team.
