Hatton W. Sumners Foundation for the Study and Teaching of Self-Government

Hatton W. Sumners Foundation for the Study and Teaching of Self-Government is an independent non-profit organization based in Dallas, Texas. Established in 1949, the purpose of the foundation is to encourage study, teaching and research into the science and art of self-government and also to the end that the American people may understand the fundamental principles of democracy and be guided thereby in shaping governmental policies. The foundation is managed by the board members.
