In February 2016, HarbourVest acquired the BAML Capital Access Funds business from Bank of America, renaming it to HarbourVest Horizon. The firm is a private equity separate account manager and adviser, which focuses on meeting the targeted needs of institutional investors by investing in emerging and diverse managers in the lower middle market. The executive management team manages the assets of the firm.
