Government Employees Pension Fund

The Government Employees Pension Fund is a defined benefit public pension fund based in Pretoria, South Africa. Established in 1996, the fund was created when various public sector funds were consolidated. Its core business, which is governed by the Government Employees Pension Law (or GEP Law), is to manage and administer pensions and other benefits for government employees in South Africa. The assets of the plan are administered by the board of trustees.
