General American Life Insurance Company was an insurance company based in Tampa, Florida. Established in 1933, the company offered life, disability and health insurance products and services to high-net-worth individuals, small business owners and corporate clients. The assets of the company were managed by the Board of Trustees. As of April 27, 2018, the company merged into Metropolitan Tower Life Insurance Company. It is no longer in business and is not actively tracked by PitchBook.
