Gartmore Private Equity

Gartmore Private Equity (GPE) was a fund of funds based in London, United Kingdom. Established in 1991, the firm managed pooled funds of fund vehicles and segregated mandates assets on behalf of corporate and public pension schemes, insurance companies, family offices, and private individuals and has been investing in private equity since its inception. The closed private equity fund invested in a diversified range of private equity fund managers, principally based in Europe and Asia. As of 2011, the firm has been acquired by Henderson Group and is no longer actively tracked by PitchBook.
