Foundation For Deep Ecology

Foundation For Deep Ecology (FDE) was an independent non-profit foundation based in San Francisco, California. Established in 1989, the foundation's mission was to support education and advocacy on behalf of wild nature. The mission was primarily carried out through publications, grant-making, and support of campaigns on particular issues affecting the future of nature and people. The foundation has merged with Tompkins Conservation.
