European Commission (EC) is a government agency based in Brussels, Belgium. Established in 1958, the agency is an institution of the European Union, responsible for proposing legislation, implementing decisions, upholding the European Union (EU) treaties, and managing the day-to-day business of the EU. The assets of the agency are managed by the executive management team.
