Electricity Supply Pension Scheme (UK)

Electricity Supply Pension Scheme (UK) is a union pension based in Sheffield, United Kingdom. Established in 1983, the plan is an industry-wide pension scheme in which the participating employers are companies formed upon the privatization of the electricity industry in 1990, associated companies of those companies, and companies established within the electricity industry since privatization. The scheme provides for two types of pensions: defined benefit pensions and defined contribution pensions. The assets are managed by the board of trustees.
