Eastern Illinois University Foundation

Eastern Illinois University Foundation manages an endowment fund based in Charleston, Illinois. Established in 1953, the earnings from endowment investments support scholarships, chairs, professorships, fellowships, basic research, and academic and public service programs. The foundation has, since its inception, been dependent upon the generosity of its members to encourage and provide private support to the University and to promote the ideals of volunteerism and philanthropy among alumni, friends, and employees of the University. The assets are managed by the board of directors.
