Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy was a government agency based in London, United Kingdom. The agency was established in 2016, the agency's mission was to build an economy that was working for everyone so that there are great places in every part of the UK for people to work and for businesses to invest, innovate, and grow. The BEIS existed until 2023 when it was split to form the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) and the Department for Science, Innovation, and Technology (DSIT). The assets of the agency were managed by the executive management team.
