Denver Area Meat Cutters and Employers Pension Plan
Denver Area Meat Cutters and Employers Pension Plan was a multi-employer defined benefit union pension fund based in Arvada, Colorado. In December 2015, the trustees of the plan approved a merger agreement with Rocky Mountain UFCW Unions and Employers Pension Plan, with an effective date of June 30, 2016. The net assets and benefit obligations of the plan were transferred to Rocky Mountain UFCW Unions and Employers Pension Plan as of June 30, 3016. Net assets of approximately $260 million were transferred, and all benefit obligations were assumed and will be fulfilled by Rocky Mountain UFCW Unions and Employers Pension Plan.
