Dallas Police & Fire Pension System (DPFP) is a single-employer contributory defined-benefit public pension fund based in Dallas, Texas. Established in 1916, the system provides retirement, death, and disability benefits to police officers, firefighters, pensioners, and their beneficiaries of the City of Dallas. The Dallas Police and Fire Pension System belongs to several pension-related organizations, including the Texas Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems (TEXPERS) and the National Conference of Public Employee Retirement Systems (NCPERS).
