Cockrell Foundation

Cockrell Foundation is an independent non-profit private foundation based in Houston, Texas. Established in 1957, the foundation provides financial support for charitable organizations, primarily in the Houston area, with a focus on higher education, health care, medical research, youth activities, and cultural institutions. The foundation additionally focuses its gifts on institutions and groups that have been important to the Cockrell family in its history, as well as important to the history of Houston and Texas. The assets are managed by the executive management team.
