Chipstone Foundation

Chipstone Foundation is an independent, non-profit private foundation based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Established in 1966, the foundation primarily gives to institutions dedicated to the study and preservation of American material culture, related activities, and education. The foundation's mission is to promote and enhance appreciation and knowledge of American material culture (emphasizing the decorative arts) by scholars, students, and the general public. The assets of the foundation are governed by the board of directors.
