AlpInvest Partners was a fund of funds based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Established in 2000, the fund is one of the largest private equity investment managers in the world. It invests only in private equity. The fund seeks to make fund investments across the spectrum of the private equity market, large and middle-market buyouts, growth capital, venture capital, as well as mezzanine and distressed debt. The assets are managed by the executive management team. The firm is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA).
