Caixa Capital

Caixa Capital is a fund of funds based in Lisboa, Portugal. Established in 1991, the firm is the private equity and venture capital arm of the Portuguese banking group Caixa Geral de Depsitos. It participates as a capital investor, directly or through third-party funds, in the creation and development of consumer, enterprise, life sciences, clean-tech, energy, industrial, infrastructure, and service-based businesses. The firm partners with incubators, accelerators, business angels, and international venture funds and also makes fund-of-funds investments. The assets of the firm are managed by the board of directors.
