C. L. David Foundation and Collection

C. L. David Foundation and Collection is a private foundation based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Established in 1995 by C. L. David, the foundation owns the museum known as the David Collection. The primary focus is to preserve and expand the holdings of the David Collection and to make them accessible to the public. In addition, it can provide support for research intended to promote Denmark's contacts with and an understanding of the art and culture of the countries of the Near East. The assets are managed by the board of directors.
