Busan Metropolitan City
Busan Metropolitan City is a government agency based in Busan, South Korea. Established in 1910, it is the 2nd largest city and a trading hub in Korea, with a population of 3.4 million and a total area of 770.17 square kilometers as of 2022. Since opening Korea's first international port in 1876, the city has become a hub of trade, commerce, and industry. It provides a range of services such as education, health and human services, highway maintenance and construction, natural resources and agriculture management, law enforcement, public safety, and economic development programs.
