Braintree Contributory Retirement System

Braintree Contributory Retirement System is a public pension fund based in Braintree, Massachusetts. Established in the year 1936, the fund provides retirement benefits to public employees in the city of Braintree and their eligible beneficiaries. It administers a pension benefit plan that provides three core benefits: superannuation retirement, disability coverage (accidental and ordinary), and death benefits. The assets of the fund are administered by the board of trustees which consists of two elected members, two appointed members by the Executive Authority, and the fifth member shall be an independent member appointed by the other four members.
