Bankia

Bankia was a banking institution based in Valencia, Spain. Established in 2010, the bank's activities were divided into three segments, retail banking, which provided financial services to consumers, private banking, asset management, as well as insurance products; business banking, which focused on serving legal entities and the self-employed and corporate center, which included a portfolio of investors. Since 2011, the firm belongs to the Banco Financiero y de Ahorros Group. The assets of the banking institution were managed by the board of directors.
