Atrium Health Foundation

Atrium Health Foundation is an independent non-profit foundation based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Established in 1959, the foundation provides support by delivering the highest quality patient care, supporting medical research and education, and joining with partners outside walls to keep the community healthy. Its mission is to obtain and manage financial resources responsibly to meet the health-related needs of today while ensuring the capability to respond to the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow. The mission also involves seeking and facilitating innovations and planning measures that may meaningfully impact the quality of available healthcare and related services in the Carolinas. The assets are managed by the board of directors.
