American Electric Power System Retirement Plan

American Electric Power System Retirement Plan (AEP Retirement Plan) is a single-employer, noncontributory corporate pension fund based in Columbus, Ohio. Established in 1940, the plan provides retirement and death benefits to the employees of American Electric Power, a holding company that operates public utilities through its subsidiaries. The Bank of New York Mellon is the plan's trustee. The assets of the pension fund are managed by the executive management team.
