ALTÉRRA is a fund of funds based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Established in 2023 by the United Arab Emirates during COP28, with an initial commitment of $30 billion and a target to mobilize $250 billion by 2030. It is a private climate investment fund that aims to revolutionize climate finance by accelerating the transition to a net-zero, climate-resilient global economy, particularly in emerging and developing markets, operating through two main pillars-Altérra Acceleration and Altérra Transformation. The assets are managed by the executive management team.
