Allete and Affiliated Companies Retirement Plan A

Allete and Affiliated Companies Retirement Plan A was a single-employer, noncontributory, defined benefit corporate pension based in Duluth, Minnesota. Established in 1952, the plan provided retirement income for eligible nonunion employees of Allete, an energy company. The plan was administered by the employee benefit plans committee of Allete. Effective December 31, 2018, Plan A was merged with and into Plan C and Plan A does not exist anymore.
