Alcoa Foundation is an independent non-profit foundation based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Established in 1952, the foundation contributes to environmental excellence, economic success, and social responsibility around the globe. The foundation primarily focuses on areas of promoting the prevention of and resilience to, climate change from human activity and the restoration and preservation of biodiversity. The assets of the foundation are managed by the board members.
