Agencia Española De Cooperacion Internacional Para El Desarrollo (AECID) is an economic development agency based in Madrid, Spain. Established in 1988, the agency is the main management body for Spanish cooperation, which combats poverty and works for sustainable human development. AECID reports to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation through the State Secretariat for International Cooperation and Ibero-America and the Caribbean The assets of the agency are managed by the executive management team.
