Advantage West Midlands

Advantage West Midlands (AWM) was an economic development agency based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The established as the Regional Development Agency (RDA) for the West Midlands in 1999 and closed in 2012. RDAs were created by the UK Government to drive sustainable economic development and social and physical regeneration through a business-led approach. Operating at arms length from Government, RDAs have business-led Boards, appointed by the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills. The firm is no into business and not actively tracked by PitchBook.
