How to sell Anduril shares

As this is written, Anduril has a tender open — current and former employees can sell a capped amount at a company-set price through November 9, 2026. A live window changes the whole question, so this page starts there: the decision inside the tender, then the routes that exist when the window is closed.

The open window (as of October 22, 2026)

Anduril opened a tender on October 13: eligible current and former employees in 16 countries can sell up to a capped total at $94.80 a share, with the window closing November 9. No outside party — this desk included — can get anyone in, change the terms, or move the caps; a tender belongs to the company. If you are eligible, understand it before doing anything else: it is the cleanest execution the stock offers, paperwork handled, price certain. The numbers around that price — the round it steps up from, where the funds carry the stock, what the secondary market has paid — are laid out in our coverage of the tender and kept current on the Anduril data page.

The decision inside a tender

A tender price is set to clear — enough sellers, enough buyers, at one number — which makes it honest and makes it negotiable by exactly no one. The real decision is allocation, not price: how much of your position does certain cash at the company’s number deserve? Selling the capped amount inside the window and keeping — or separately shopping — the rest is a common path, and the two do not conflict. The trade-offs are the standard ones: the tender is certain and capped; an outside sale is negotiated and uncapped but runs the company’s process on its own clock. Concentration, cash needs and taxes decide the split, and that hour with your tax adviser is worth more in a tender month than in any other.

Outside the window

With the tender closed — or for size beyond its caps — Anduril is an ordinary restricted private stock, and the ordinary rules apply: the company’s documents control transfer, a sale starts with the transferability check, and the structure follows from what the documents permit — direct transfer, SPV or forward, compared. Demand in the name is real and institutional; defense is the sector buyers ask about most after AI. That cuts both ways: real buyers exist, and so do intermediaries chaining the same block through four hands — the fee guide’s warning signs apply here with force.

How a sale runs through this desk

Tell the desk what you hold — class, rough size, vested or not — and your timing. We confirm what your position can do under the company’s rules, take it to buyers without your name on it, and come back with an indicative range, usually within one business day in a name with this much standing demand. If the tender is the better route for you, we will say exactly that — a desk that cannot recommend against itself is not giving advice, it is selling. No fee to ask, nothing up front, the fee quoted in writing on the file. Trades close through a FINRA-registered broker-dealer; CRDs on the about page.

Common questions

Can former employees sell Anduril shares?
In the current tender, yes — the October 2026 window is open to current and former employees in 16 countries, broader than earlier rounds. Outside a tender, a former employee holds restricted private stock like any other holder: the company’s transfer rules govern, and the routes are a consented transfer or a structure the documents permit.
Is the tender price a fair price?
It is a real price — a company tender is set to clear, not to impress, which makes it the most honest single reference the name produces. Whether it is the right price for you is a different question: fund marks have sat below it and recent secondary trades printed above it. The comparison that matters is the tender’s certain, capped cash now against an uncertain, negotiated price outside — laid out on the data page and in our coverage.
What if I want to sell more than the tender cap allows?
Caps per holder are normal, and the window is finite. The remainder is an ordinary private-share sale: transferability check, buyer, the company’s process. A tender and an outside sale are not exclusive — selling the capped amount inside and shopping the rest after is a common and legitimate path.
What about unexercised options or unvested stock?
Tender eligibility rules state what can participate — typically vested, settled holdings. Unexercised options generally cannot transfer outside either; the usual fixes are exercising at close or a structure, where the company’s documents permit one. What your specific grant can do is a documents question — pull them first.
When is the next tender?
The company decides, and it does not pre-announce a calendar. Anduril has now run several, which suggests a practice rather than a one-off — but a holder planning around an assumed next window is planning around a guess. If you missed this one, the honest options are an outside sale or readiness for the next window, and readiness is free.
Is Anduril going public?
Its founder has said it will, eventually; nothing is filed as of this writing, and the company has said it wants to hit production goals first. The standard pre-IPO arithmetic applies: a listing would come with a lockup of about six months for insiders, and a tender in hand today is certain in a way a future listing is not.
