Valion Eläkekassa

Valion Eläkekassa is a corporate pension fund based in Helsinki, Finland. Established in 1920, it takes care of the pension security of employees employed by Valio Oy and Valio's employer shareholders. The pension fund has got 2 sections/departments: Section A grants old-age, invalidity, and survivors' pensions, as well as sickness and funeral allowances, as defined in its rules. The members of Section A are those employees for whom Valio Oy and other shareholders have arranged an additional benefit; Department B of the pension fund takes care of the statutory pension security. Its members are all persons covered by the Employees' Pensions Act (TyEL) employed by the shareholders. The assets are managed by the board of directors.
