Uber is a corporation based in San Francisco, California. Established in 2009, it is a technology platform that is used to power movement from point A to point B. It connects consumers with independent providers of ride services for ridesharing services as well as with other forms of transportation including public transport. It also connects consumers with delivery service providers for food, grocery, and other delivery services. The assets of the firm are managed by its board of directors.
