The Arab Energy Fund is a corporation based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Established in 1974, the firm was created by the Organisation of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) as a commercially focused financial institution that can help provide financing options to the Arab energy industry. The firm has worked to raise capital access and the financial stability and performance of the Arab energy industry through an array of strategic equity investments, project loans, trade finance, advisory, and research. The assets are managed by the board of directors.
