Sumitomo Life Insurance Company is an insurance company based in Osaka, Japan. Established in 1907, it sells individual, group life, and specialized health policies through about 80 branch offices and nearly 2,000 district offices. It also administers pension plans and, through its subsidiary Sumisei General, offers auto insurance. The assets of the company are managed by the board of directors.
