NC Idea is a private foundation based in Durham, North Carolina. Established in 2005, the mission of the foundation is to foster economic development in North Carolina by helping young start-ups commercialize their innovations. It provides grants to high-tech start-up companies in North Carolina. The assets are managed by the executive management team.
