National Pension Service

National Pension Service is a public pension fund based in Jeonju-si, South Korea. Established in 1987, the fund helps secure the retirement benefits of Korean citizens with income security, thereby promoting national welfare in the case of retirement, disability, or death. The fund invests in alternative investments, such as private equity, venture capital, real estate, and hedge funds. The fund also makes direct investments, operates its private equity funds, and participates in one-off investments with Korean and foreign private equity firms. The assets of the fund are managed by the executive management team.
