Mehdi Ghissassi

Mr. Mehdi Ghissassi served as Director & Head of Product at Google DeepMind. He serves as Advisor at Origin Medical. He serves as an Advisory Board Member at CapitalG. He also serves as Investment Committee Member at UM6P Ventures. He built the Product Management organization which directs all the product and business applications of DeepMind's technologies. Prior to that, he led the Strategy, Operations, and Partnerships team at DeepMind, driving the incubation of multiple technology product bets in various industries such as healthcare, energy, industrials, financial services, and media. He joined Google in its Mountain View headquarters to drive strategy for the enterprise business before joining the emerging markets organization leading multiple initiatives in Africa, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. Prior to Google, he was a management consultant at Booz&Cie, an infrastructure private equity investor at Macquarie Capital, and a telecoms strategy manager at SFR/Vodafone. He holds master of science (MS) degrees in Engineering from both École Polytechnique and École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées as well as a MS in International Relations and Political Science from Sciences-Po Paris. He is also a graduate of Columbia University's Master of Business Administration program.
